  • Completed at least the second year of Undergraduate studies
  • Experience designing and building multiple mechanical systems outside of the classroom
  • Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Automation experience with actuators and Raspberry Pi's
  • Proficiency in CAD
  • Worked on complex projects involving mechanical, electrical, and software design
  • Ability to change direction and simplify goals
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excitement for design skills improvement
  • Ability to plan and schedule work
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities
  • Developing concepts and evaluating tradeoffs based on product and engineering requirements
  • Designing parts and assemblies using CAD tools
  • Building and testing prototypes
  • Collaborating with other teams and suppliers for design reviews
  • Creating electro-mechanical testers to prove component reliability
  • Root causing failures and developing test strategies
  • Documenting work for easy understanding
