Position Overview:
The Network Engineering and Operations Warehouse Manager at CVS Health is responsible for managing and optimizing the inventory of network hardware within the warehouse to support the network engineering and operational needs. This role involves overseeing inventory allocation for specific projects, ensuring proper tracking and storage of network equipment, and collaborating with network engineering, operations, and project management teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in warehouse management and inventory control, with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Allocation and Project Support

·Allocate inventory within the warehouse for specific project requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of equipment to support network engineering needs.

·Collaborate with network engineering staff to manage project-based inventory needs and prevent over-purchasing.

Hardware and Storage Tracking

·Oversee the receipt, and storage of network hardware, ensuring that all items are tracked accurately within the inventory system.

·Regularly update stock levels and manage reorder points to maintain optimal inventory for current and future projects.

Inventory Tracking and Management

·Ensure all items are accurately logged in the inventory tracking system, maintaining up-to-date records of stock levels, location, and usage.

·Work closely with warehouse personnel to manage hardware allocation processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Critical Spares Management

·Clearly tag and allocate critical spares for operations, coordinating with the operations team to facilitate shipping and ensure spares are readily accessible.

·Implement and monitor processes to ensure that critical hardware is easily identifiable and correctly designated as operational spares.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination

·Coordinate with the engineering team, suppliers, vendors, and OEMs to ensure timely delivery of equipment and meet project timelines.

·Manage the buy-back process for legacy and end-of-life equipment, working closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient disposal and cost recovery.

Fulfillment Management

·Manage and initiate orders for filament, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and supporting warehouse operations.

Central Point of Contact

·Serve as the main point of contact for network engineering, operations, and the project management team, facilitating inventory allocation and addressing warehouse-related inquiries.

·Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide visibility into warehouse inventory, proactively managing equipment availability.

Qualifications:

·         3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Business

·5+ years of experience in warehouse management, distribution center, inventory control, or a related field.

·        2+ years of experience with inventory tracking systems, MS databases (SQL or Access), and best practices for inventory management.

·Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments, including engineering and operations teams.

Skills and Competencies:

·Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.

·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records.

·Ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements.

·Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external partners.

Reports to: The Executive Director of Enterprise Infrastructure 

Location: Onsite in our Aetna Hartford Connecticut location, frequent travel to the Red Thread warehouse in North Haven Connecticut is required. Must have a valid drivers license.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
