Responsibilities
  • Allocate inventory within the warehouse for specific project requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of equipment to support network engineering needs
  • Collaborate with network engineering staff to manage project-based inventory needs and prevent over-purchasing
  • Oversee the receipt, and storage of network hardware, ensuring that all items are tracked accurately within the inventory system
  • Regularly update stock levels and manage reorder points to maintain optimal inventory for current and future projects
  • Ensure all items are accurately logged in the inventory tracking system, maintaining up-to-date records of stock levels, location, and usage
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to manage hardware allocation processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Clearly tag and allocate critical spares for operations, coordinating with the operations team to facilitate shipping and ensure spares are readily accessible
  • Implement and monitor processes to ensure that critical hardware is easily identifiable and correctly designated as operational spares
  • Coordinate with the engineering team, suppliers, vendors, and OEMs to ensure timely delivery of equipment and meet project timelines
  • Manage the buy-back process for legacy and end-of-life equipment, working closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient disposal and cost recovery
  • Manage and initiate orders for filament, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and supporting warehouse operations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for network engineering, operations, and the project management team, facilitating inventory allocation and addressing warehouse-related inquiries
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide visibility into warehouse inventory, proactively managing equipment availability
