Requirements
  • Several years of experience in customer support, patient support, or customer operations, ideally in a dynamic, digital, or fast-growing company.
  • Experience taking responsibility beyond one's own daily work and proactively driving topics forward.
  • Initial experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues, with confidence giving constructive feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, clear, and empathetic patient support across multiple channels.
  • Handle complex or sensitive support cases and find pragmatic solutions, including when no clearly defined process exists.
  • Conduct outbound calls as needed to resolve issues proactively and ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Act as a key contact for other Patient Support Specialists on complex cases and operational questions.
  • Identify recurring pain points and ensure relevant topics are escalated to the appropriate internal teams for sustainable resolution.
  • Own one Patient Support Pillar and monitor its daily performance.
  • Manage the relevant key performance indicators for the pillar, identify trends, and detect areas requiring action early.
  • Use operational data, patient feedback, and team insights to understand the causes of performance changes.
  • Derive concrete actions from analyses and track their implementation and impact.
  • Keep the team and Patient Support Leadership Team informed about pillar performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify recurring problems and inefficiencies within the pillar and take responsibility for sustainable improvements.
  • Analyze root causes and develop solutions that improve both the patient experience and the team's way of working.
  • Drive process improvements independently from problem identification through implementation and follow-up.
  • Support the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of internal processes and documentation.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and continuously improve products, processes, and the patient experience.
  • Balance short-term operational needs with longer-term improvement projects and prioritize them effectively.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, development support, and ongoing assistance.
  • Plan and moderate team meetings and communicate updates, learnings, and priorities clearly.
  • Provide regular constructive feedback and support colleagues in developing their skills and confidence.
  • Act as a dependable point of contact for Specialists in the pillar, supporting questions, prioritization, and challenging situations.
  • Share knowledge and best practices and contribute to team learning.
  • Work closely with the Patient Support Team Lead to raise challenges and team insights and translate broader priorities into operational execution.

Stocks held steady on Wednesday after receiving a boost from big tech gains, while the Federal Reserve's January meeting minutes held investor attention. On Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) and S&P 500 Index (SPX) both snapped three-day win streaks, while the Nasdaq also faced trouble; these losses slid right past traders as focus remained on geopolitical tensions and weekly jobless claims. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 are pacing for weekly gains, after the Supreme Court dismissed President Donald Trump's tariffs and lifted Wall Street's spirits. Stock movers this week. There were plenty of headlines for investors to unpack over the holiday-shortened week. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) popped after reports that Elliott Investment Management has built an over 10% stake. (NYSE:HIMS) stock rose 7.8% Thursday morning after the company announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Eucalyptus, an international digital health leader with operations in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, and Canada. The acquisition, valued at up to $1.15 billion USD, will accelerate Hims & Hers' global expansion strategy while preserving its financial flexibility. The company will pay approximately $240 million in cash upon closing, with the remaining consideration structured as deferred payments over 18 months and additional earnout payments tied to financial targets through early 2029. Eucalyptus, which operates consumer brands including Juniper and Pilot, has served more than 775,000 customers and currently maintains an annual revenue run-rate exceeding $450 million USD. The company has demonstrated triple-digit YoY revenue growth in each quarter of calendar year 2025 while operating near profitability. "Healthcare challenges are global, and so is the demand for simpler, transparent, and more personalized healthcare," said Andrew Dudum, founder and CEO of Hims & Hers. "With Eucalyptus, we will not only enter new markets, we will expand our ability to serve customers globally, trusting local experts to be a key part of how we transform healthcare into a customer-first, personalized industry." Following the acquisition's completion, Eucalyptus CEO Tim Doyle will become SVP of International at Hims & Hers, overseeing the company's international business. Eucalyptus' portfolio of brands will transition into Hims & Hers over time. The transaction is expected to close during the middle of calendar year 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
