Requirements
  • Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience working within integrated agency teams (Earned Media, Social, Partnerships, Creative) and collaborating with a matrixed interagency team
  • Ability to lead/manage multiple clients and programs (and associated expectations and timing) at once
  • Can promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational functions
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and always focus on problem-solving
  • Outstanding communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in sculpting and telling a cohesive story
  • At least 4 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
  • BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day tactical lead across clients, interagency partners, and internal team members, ensuring the successful implementation of the PR program.
  • Lead execution of multichannel, earned-first creative activations in partnership with specialist teams (Earned Media, Creative, Strategy, Digital).
  • Closely manage implementation of client-approved programs, understanding status, dependencies and considerations at all times.
  • Initiate tactical execution of program elements, providing clear direction to internal specialist partners, foreseeing potential roadblocks and proactively recommending/implementing solutions.
  • Manage development of a variety of material types (including press releases, key message documents, pitches, social media content, etc.).
  • Ensure all deliverables are polished and error-free.
  • Assist in financial management for clients, including development of activity reports
