Atlassian is hiring a Insights Partner to join our newly formed People Insights team, a cross-disciplinary group of analysts, data scientists, behavioral scientists, researchers and business partners, who use data and research to inform strategic and operational issues facing our leaders, teams, and people. This role will be responsible for collaborating with business and people leaders across Atlassian to understand the people insights needed to make decisions, and collaborating with others on the People Insights team to deliver. You will report to the People Insights Partners and Products Lead.
What You’ll Do:
- Deeply understand the needs of our business stakeholders, translate those needs into analytical and research projects, and deliver science-backed insights and recommendations to drive action
- Collaborate with behavioral scientists, data scientists and others to deliver insights in a way that is scalable, meets stakeholder needs and is actionable
- Act as a subject matter expert to business leaders on high priority projects tied to company objectives
- Learn from and collaborate with other Insight Partners, as well as mentor others on the team
- Take complex analyses and insights and present them in a way that is digestible and relevant to your stakeholders
Your Background:
- Expertise in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field (ie., advanced degree or equivalent experience/expertise in topics related to workplace psychology)
- Six or more years of experience working in People Analytics, Talent Management, Organizational Development and/or Consulting to organizations
- Strong understanding of the HR landscape (e.g., functions and processes) and existing challenges and best practices
- Experience presenting to senior executives or stakeholders
- Basic stats and data proficiency (ie., ability to explain and answer questions about data analyses/results, conduct basic analyses)
- Ability to translate data into compelling and easy-to-understand insights, stories, and narratives that resonate with a non-technical audience
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders, while also managing expectations appropriately
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation
At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $160,700 - $246,500
Zone B: $144,600 - $221,800
Zone C: $133,300 - $204,600
Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
