  • Committed follower of Jesus Christ who believes there is no salvation apart from faith in his atonement on the cross, by grace alone becoming 'born again' thus beginning a personal relationship with Christ, the Son of God.
  • Able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace, with a strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
  • Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church; knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.
  • Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is consonant with sound Christian principles, compatible with Colorado Christian University's Statement of Faith, and in agreement with the University's Strategic Priorities.
  • Must be able to drive a vehicle, fly by plane, or use other modes of transportation within the assigned territory.
  • Must be able to occasionally work irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.
  • Must be accepted and enrolled in one of Colorado Christian University's graduate programs.
  • Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and have the results sent to Colorado Christian University for review.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Admissions staff in college recruitment efforts, including the recruitment of high school students.
  • Assist multiple Admissions departments, including Recruitment, Marketing, Events, and Operations.
  • Assist Enrollment Counselors in connecting prospective students and their families with Colorado Christian University by building positive relationships and explaining why a Christ-centered education fits the student's long-term goals.
  • Support in-office recruitment and funnel management by sending emails and text messages and making phone calls to prospective students.
  • Work in a team environment to meet assigned admissions goals and objectives each academic year.
  • Travel to designated territories, potentially remaining out of the office for a week at a time to support University Enrollment Counselors.
  • Assist prospective students in completing the full admissions process.
  • Assist with CCU Admission Events, including giving tours, setting up events, and transporting families via CCU vehicles.
  • Assist Marketing and Operations with packaging and mailing, transcript processing, and data cleanup.
  • Work an average of 25 hours per week, with possible seasonal variation in hours.
  • Travel to meet with students, parents, and schools, including peak-period travel from Monday morning through Friday evening.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a significant asset in this role.
