Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and evaluate patients’ orthopedic conditions through physical examinations, medical history review, and diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnoses, including surgical and non-surgical approaches.
  • Perform surgical procedures such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and other orthopedic interventions with precision and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to develop postoperative care plans and facilitate patients’ recovery.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients throughout the treatment process.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and surgical outcomes.
  • Convey medical information effectively to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
