Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to position and transfer patients.
  • One year experience in a health related field.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Responsibilities
  • Assists the physical therapist as care is provided to patients and completes required documentation appropriately.
  • May communicate patient progress and concerns to supervising therapist.
  • May operate and inspect per designated equipment protocols to maintain a safe and functional environment.
  • May prepare and maintain the treatment area for accommodation of all patients.
  • May review, correct, and maintain patient schedules.
  • May assist with various office and clerical functions (e.g., answering phone calls, obtaining patient information, Insurance verification, preparing patient charts, obtaining and following patient billing practices, batching daily charges).
