Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational processes, financial metrics, profit drivers, local market drivers, and competition.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to maintain confidentiality of team member, patient, and compensation records.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask without compromising quality, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • The ability to comply with company policies and state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Operations Manager in achieving financial performance and revenue growth for assigned locations.
  • Support execution of the PDS Operational Model, Perfect Patient Experience, and Patients for Life strategy.
  • Act as manager of the supported practice when the Operations Manager is absent.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules and assign team members to specific duties.
  • Help team members develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning.
  • Create team focus on executing the Owner Dentists Clinical Culture to support the Perfect Patient Experience.
  • Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Provide feedback on tactics that affect financial and patient outcomes so the broader organization can benefit.
  • Ensure the office follows PDS standards for facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead and participate in daily huddles and other required meetings.
  • Make decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework while stewarding the PDS Brand.
  • Execute PDS processes, systems, and tools as a subject matter expert and contribute to their improvement.
  • Ensure the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff are executed to gain Patients for Life.
  • Support clinician education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state, federal, and other regulatory bodies.
