If you are looking for a role that provides you an opportunity to lead finance improvement at multiple Medtronic manufacturing sites, come join the Minnesota Twin Cities Campus Operations in Fridley, Brooklyn Park and Plymouth! This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager. The primary responsibilities of this role is to provide Business Partnering support to the manufacturing leadership team, communicating site results, strategy modeling, business case evaluation, MPS and Gemba management and programmatic savings.
This position is a hybrid position in Minneapolis, MN.
Key Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Capital - forecasting, audit review, business case analysis, work closely with COE
Programmatic Savings - Work closely with OPEX team, review and support savings projections
Zero Loss Events - prepare finance documents and participate in event
Project support - work Operations to verify key projects and related expense
Inventory - work with COE to resolve reconciliation issues, review COE E & O reserve analysis
AME support - attend key meetings, review monthly chargebacks, work with OU Finance teams on development projects
Attend daily TIER III meetings and provide Finance support as needed
MPS and Gemba support
Campus site strategy and business case support
Month End close review of COE activity and variance analysis
AOP/Forecasting- work with COE’s on volume, spend, labor efficiency, scrap, SOGL, labor and burden rates, standard setting
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years)

Have the ability to develop business partnering skills with cross functional teams
Have the ability to successfully master and visualize complex end to end processes and understand the connects between data elements
Be flexible and supportive to change
Exposure to and working knowledge of financial systems including ERP’s such as SAP
Work well in a matrixed organization and have strong influencing skills
Exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager
Communication skills - able to present and articulate clearly

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
