- Physical Therapist Assistant certification for the state of Missouri.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and physical examination.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines for patient care.
- Provide Physical Therapist-assigned services to patients in the home setting in accordance with the physician’s plan of care and under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Participate in communication and case conference activities to promote continuity and quality of patient care services.
- Apply sound judgment and technical skills to perform assigned treatments and procedures according to established agency protocols.
- Maintain compliance with the agency Code of Ethics.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with agency standards, policies, procedures, state and federal regulations, state practice acts for licensed personnel, and payer requirements.
- Practice safety, environmental, and infection-control measures.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Care is delivered at patients' homes and financed by Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay, which can reduce hospitalizations and delay move to facility-based living.
