- A bachelor's degree in an associated discipline and five years of experience in information systems development, training, or related fields.
- Five years of service in, or support to, the Army or another national defense service.
- Three years of experience developing and providing information technology and end-user training on computer hardware and application software.
- Three years of mission command information systems teaching experience.
- Three to five years of experience with modeling and simulation in support of training, including JLCCTC, WARSIM, C2WSPTT, and other required systems.
- Experience developing scenarios and performing analytical assessments of systems.
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience using the Joint Event Life Cycle process, along with experience providing operator and functional training.
- An active Secret security clearance.
- Availability during core work hours established by the government customer.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute individual mission command information systems and simulation training at echelons ranging from Squad to Corps.
- Set up classrooms, network systems and supporting simulations, and provide instruction on applicable simulations and mission command information systems.
- Execute training on the system in accordance with Army standard Programs of Instruction and approved course instructional times.
- Provide individual mission command information systems training to standard and on time, with 90% of students successfully completing the course and receiving system certification.
- Follow doctrine outlined in the TC 6-0 series, Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function.
- Teach and coach training unit personnel on simulation functionality and operations during exercise and event execution.
- Occasionally operate the simulation system or mission command information system for the unit during training events.
- Plan and synchronize training schedules, operational timelines, and simulation support across multiple echelons.
