  • 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a significant portion of that experience in technology companies, preferably within a fairly dense subject matter.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong media relations skills with an established track record of turning those skills into strong outcomes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without many guardrails.
Responsibilities
  • Lead communications around PsiQuantum’s project in Brisbane, communicating the progress being made towards the first utility-scale quantum computer as well as PsiQuantum’s growing quantum applications and solutions efforts.
  • Drive and own media relations in the AUS market while supporting the overall marketing and communications efforts of PsiQuantum Australia.
  • Manage day-to-day operations with PsiQuantum’s PR agency and serve as the go-to contact for the team, including organizing media outreach campaigns and setting KPIs for all media activities.
  • Help develop messaging materials around PsiQuantum announcements, technical milestones, applications developments and customer engagements.
  • Support the evolving Internal Communications efforts at PsiQuantum including partnering on executive communications and internal events.
  • Work with PsiQuantum’s Marketing team in developing owned PsiQuantum events.

PsiQuantum is developing the world's first commercially useful quantum computer with a photonics-based architecture, leveraging pre-existing manufacturing processes and infrastructure. The company's approach focuses on quantum error correction and solving real-world problems in fields such as medicine, energy, and finance.

PsiQuantum is seeking to raise $750 million in a new equity funding round led by BlackRock, with a pre-money valuation of $6 billion.
