Requirements
  • Experience in Foodservice Sales is a requirement for this position.
  • Experience developing, planning, and leading strategic customer initiatives.
  • Experience calling on Foodservice National Account and Wholesale Distributors.
  • Excellent data analytical and organizational skills.
  • The ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions.
  • Self-starter mentality with a high degree of follow-through; can own and take strategic initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in the consumer products industry is required.
Responsibilities
  • Actively manage existing customers with support from internal teams, including Quality, R&D, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Drive market penetration with existing and new partners via in-person and virtual calls, product training, food shows, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a list of target customers that leverage Teasdale’s existing capabilities, as well as those in close adjacencies.
  • Own and manage the complete new business life cycle from concept to launch.
  • Developing an annual business plan, including yearly & monthly volume forecasts across top customers.
  • Delivering key business and financial metrics, including top-line results (Revenue, Volume, Share) and key financial metrics (e.g., EBITDA), is required.
  • Working cross-functionally to develop and implement overall customer selling stories, while providing key insights to deliver all key execution metrics.
  • Develop and leverage top-level relationships at major accounts to optimize Teasdale’s positioning in the market.
  • Understand market trends, pricing, risk management, and commercial landscape for the Teasdale customer base.
  • Provide Demand and Forecasting direction monthly across the customer base to the Teasdale Demand Planning team to ensure flawless execution via OTIF.
  • Have a deep understanding of product functionality.
  • Manage key customer portal processes and procedures, including but not limited to Trace One, Global Data Sync, Customer Specific Portals, and more.
