  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process by providing entries for non-recurring transactions and other complex accounting matters including but not limited to revenue recognition, lease accounting, acquisitions, share-based compensation, goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis, and debt covenants
  • Ensure the financial statements properly reflect the legal structure of our organization
  • Lead the research and resolution of significant and / or non-routine transactions
  • Ensure the application of GAAP to complex transactions and communicate the accounting implications to internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Develop, update, and maintain accounting policy documentation
  • Partner with finance and functional leaders to develop, implement and operationalize standardized accounting policies and procedures
  • Stay abreast of new accounting policies and advise on the impact to the company. Draft accounting memos to support conclusions and assist with the implementation
  • Serve as a resource to the organization for technical accounting interpretation and application
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of financial statements for international subsidiaries and support the audit of such entities
  • Work directly with the external auditors to coordinate their audit and review procedures
  • Participate in the accounting integration activities associated with any acquisitions
  • Partner with Treasury to ensure accurate processing and reporting of significant cash transactions
