Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Analytics Business Partner (Senior Manager or Technologist role equivalent) who will play a pivotal role working with our IT Connected Enterprise leadership team to understand complex cross-functional business processes, and then together with Technical Solution team, define and prioritize initiatives that accelerate business value capture.
The Analytics Business Partner (ABP) for the Advanced Analytics Office (AAO) serves as a critical link between business entities and the Advanced Analytics team that develops solutions for the business functions. The ABP will work with diverse stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Research & Development department leaders in Flash and HDD Business Units. The position is focused on understanding the business problem and context from these diverse stakeholders, reframe business problem statement into an approachable analytical problem statement, drive agreement with business owners and solution team on the problem scope. The ABP will manage problem solutioning through a high-speed process known as Rapid Learning Cycle. The position also requires developing good understanding of business processes and being able to calculate Return on Investments for the targeted initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Pipeline
- Regular check-in with Business Function leaders for identifying initiatives for collaboration
- Refine Problem statement with Business Owners
- Refine the problem statement and the scope of projects
- Confirm data sources and identify challenges and dependencies
- Establish Business value of the project
- Establish team roster and Executive Sponsor
- Rapid Learning Cycle
- Manage problem solutioning with AAO technical team and business subject matter experts
- Manage weekly meetings with working team and updates to sponsor
- Manage Kickoff meeting and Exit Review
- Pilot and Scaling phases
- Manage project adoption into Pilot and Scale to production
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- A bachelor’s or a higher degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering. Alternatively, degree in Economics or Business Administration
- 10+ years of proven experience in managing cross functional teams involved with analytics applications in diversity
- Good understanding of business operations, strategies, key performance indicators (KPIs) to align analytics initiatives with business goals.
- Have worked on Enterprise business functions, such as, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Business Units, Supply Chain, Procurement etc. and have helped enable cross-functional applications to support their business processes.
SKILLS
Organizational Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to
- Effectively translate technical analytics jargon into business terms and vice versa.
- Create compelling presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management skills to coordinate and oversee analytics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate and oversee analytics projects from initiation to completion.
- Knowledge of Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address business challenges using analytics insights.
- Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable sub-tasks and sub-parts for executing rapid (12 week) projects

Data Analytics and IT Skills:
- Analytics Concepts:
- Familiarity with basic analytics concepts, including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in interpreting data, analytics, statistical models, AI/ML, data integration, ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and data governance tools.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and trends, such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), AI/ML, and Gen AI.
- Financial Literacy: Basic financial knowledge to assess the cost and return on investment (ROI) of analytics initiatives.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and analytics best practices.
