Responsibilities
  • Greet customers immediately while meeting the Bank's Service Pledge standards.
  • Build account relationships by cross-selling and referring additional products and services to the appropriate department.
  • Learn the features and benefits of checking, savings, money market, health savings, individual retirement, and certificate of deposit accounts.
  • Open accounts accurately with complete documentation and complete required follow-up phone calls and thank-you cards within the required timeframes.
  • Complete money services business due diligence questions within Streamline.
  • Participate in the High Performance Growth program, including branch displays, Big Days, and the Tell a Friend program.
  • Maintain High Performance Growth inventory and submit RMS reporting weekly.
  • Set up and use online banking, Bill Pay, and e-statements to assist customers.
  • Order and follow up on check orders with the check provider.
  • Process wire transfers and perform safe deposit clerk duties.
  • Follow up with customers to complete pending items within the required 30-day period.
  • Complete CIF maintenance when account relationships change.
  • Issue and perform maintenance on Visa Instant Issue and check cards.
  • Determine whether a check deposited into a new checking account requires a Regulation CC hold and explain the determination to the customer.
  • Explain all new account disclosures associated with each retail product.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements.
  • Complete assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by the due date.
  • Provide in-person customer contact through regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Use the Service Pledge in all customer encounters, including smiling, maintaining eye contact, using the customer's name, presenting viable options, providing instant acknowledgment, putting customers first, and ending with “Thank you.”
