Requirements
  • Experience administering Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting Alteryx Server and workflow management.
  • Strong understanding of analytics platform governance, security, and user administration.
  • Experience troubleshooting platform performance and user access issues.
  • Strong communication and client-facing collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations.
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, and Alteryx Server environments.
  • Manage user access, permissions, security models, and governance processes.
  • Monitor platform health, usage, performance, and adoption metrics.
  • Support dashboard publishing, workflow scheduling, content migration, and environment management activities.
  • Troubleshoot platform, connectivity, and user support issues across Tableau and Alteryx environments.
  • Partner with analytics consultants and client stakeholders to implement best practices and optimize platform usage.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches, release management, and platform maintenance activities.
  • Support data governance, documentation, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams supporting cloud data platforms and enterprise analytics ecosystems.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and enablement as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across analytics platforms.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Databricks.
  • Experience supporting Higher Education and/or Government clients.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data integration concepts.
  • Experience with Tableau Prep, Power BI, or related analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting enterprise analytics modernization initiatives.
  • Tableau and/or Alteryx certifications preferred.
