Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as Data Analyst with Workday, SSRS and SQL
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with SQL
  • Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
  • Proven experience with data warehousing, database design, and proficiency in DWH methodologies and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages like C# or Python
  • An ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrable success navigating IT product teams through ambiguity while effectively engaging and communicating with all levels of an organization
  • Considerable experience providing post go-live support on Workday HCM and Finance solutions
  • Extensive working knowledge of change management principles and project performance evaluation processes
  • Exceptional presentation and vendor engagement skills
  • Experienced in implementing and sustaining best of breed SaaS applications implementations in an enterprise environment
  • Strong consultative and advisory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Experienced in working with both internal and system integrator teams for development
  • Experience with Workday platform
  • Experience with Jira and Agile methodology
  • Experience in supporting internal and external auditors with SOX ITGC, SOD

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in technology-related field or relevant experience in implementing Business systems
Responsibilities
  • The Workday reporting and analytical engineer will participate in requirements gathering, analysis, program design, coding, QA, documentation, software support and other programming, troubleshooting, and change control tasks needed to produce operational and management reports to support the bank's HR and Finance needs within the Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other information systems
  • Use SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), as well as Workday reporting, and Tableau to create organized reports and user-friendly dashboards
  • Analyze and process large amounts of quantitative data and provide actionable insights to the business
  • Design, develop, optimize, maintain and support ETL processes using data warehouse design best practices and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate data from multiple source systems into a Data Warehouse, cleansing data, transforming and loading data from multiple formats using SSIS and stored procedures
  • Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
  • Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
  • Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
  • Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols to improve productivity, performance and enable deeper, more scalable solutions
  • Document procedures for all tools / processes you create
  • Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Developers and business stakeholders on requirements and functional specifications to understand business priorities and translate requirements
