  • Deep sourcing expertise (4+ years) in raw materials, metal commodities, or related categories, with demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing, market/pricing mechanics, should-costing, and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities
  • Own key battery raw materials commodities at Form (with a focus on battery chemicals, metals, and other additives), including commercial relationships and contracts within our supply base and the broader value chain
  • Collaborate closely with Form’s Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering and Strategic Supply teams to define and drive execution of Form’s raw materials sourcing strategy
  • Negotiate and deliver favorable commercial terms that optimize costs, lead times, and risk to Form by managing the end-to-end sourcing process from supplier development through qualification, negotiation, and contracting
  • Secure best-in-class pricing for raw materials through detailed price analysis and negotiations, continual cost reductions, cost avoidance, and logistics optimization
  • Monitor current category market conditions, evaluating supplier capacities and competitive landscapes, technology roadmaps and supply/demand challenges & opportunities
  • Ensure Form is working with best-in-class suppliers and mitigating risks by rigorously analyzing component and manufacturing costs, performing risk analyses, forecasting industry trends, and leveraging your own expertise in raw materials markets and production processes
