Requirements
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in hardware development
  • Robust working knowledge of RF systems, wireless products, signal integrity, high-speed signals, and power integrity
  • Strong experience as a Chip/Core lead in ASIC/SOC Development for the Wireless Market Segment
  • Expertise in hardware integration, including the following: SOC, microcontrollers, microprocessors (ARM), embedded peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, embedded flash, high-speed serial)
  • Deep understanding of power supply architecture, high-speed signaling and hardware interface protocols
  • Strong schematics design, component selection, and battery charging
  • Strong experience with bring-up and debugging of mixed-signal designs
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment and lab resources, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, logic analyzers, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, data loggers, multimeters, and optical and thermal analysis tools
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Master preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industry experience in building prototypes and successfully releasing highly integrated electronics products
Responsibilities
  • Dynamic problem-solving and willingness to explore unconventional approaches when needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to drive projects to success.
  • Prototyping proof of concepts
  • Lead component selection and use in designs as suited for the application and RF system development
  • Ownership of electrical designs and hardware product features
  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools and lab equipment for testing and validation.
  • Hands on experience of developing and integrating cellular, BLE, RFID, wifi, Lora radio platforms from concept to mass production.
  • Build documentation for component selection, component supply, and cost, design options, schematics, layout, and production packages
  • Maintain documentation for approved alternates, and other electrical and hardware details
  • Build vs. buy decision-making component scoping and component substitution advice
  • Custom module development where required
  • Bring up, validation and debug low level design
