What we’re looking for
Vacasa is seeking a hard-working, energetic employee who is passionate about delivering on the promise of excellence in customer service. The Night Auditor will be responsible for verifying, posting and correcting all revenue from the property as well as checking in guests as necessary during the night shift with the highest level of customer service.
While this position begins as temporary, seasonal, you may have the opportunity to obtain part-time employment based on your skill set and the company’s growth.
Position Summary
The Night Auditor is responsible for overall resort operations during the night shift. The primary focus (not an exhaustive list) is on all Front Desk and Night Audit responsibilities, including overseeing the property, handling complaints, assisting guests, addressing disturbances, entering and auditing reservations, preparing arrival documentation, and collecting payments as appropriate. Reliable transportation required. This is an overnight position with weekends required.
Compensation
- $21 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate’s skill, experience, education and/or location.

What you’ll do
- Overnight shift report
- Close out the previous day, set to the current day
- Close open items as appropriate from day shifts
- Security walk-throughs every 2 hours
- Guest/owner interactions as necessary
- Address or report disturbances
- A first reporter for medical and other emergencies
- Ensure late arrivals are tracked to the next day if applicable
- Open tickets as appropriate (from a walkthrough or guests/owners)
- Run Arrivals and Departures reports as appropriate
- Assemble check-in packets, make key cards and parking passes
- Other duties, as assigned
The skills you’ll need
- Knowledge and judgment
- Confidence (alone during overnight shift)
- Technical Skills: Attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Work Experience: Front Desk, hospitality, customer/guest facing
- Must be able to walk distances, lift luggage
Work & Physical Environment
- Indoor and outdoor
- Not eligible for telework
- Variable schedule; operates with autonomy to complete job duties.
- Structure of the position: fixed schedule, variable schedule, autonomy of task completion
- Works alone overnight
- Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
