The Challenge

The successful candidate will be an experienced specialist on IBM’s Sterling Integrator and File Gateway platform and will work closely with the business user community and IT colleagues to plan and execute new projects, system enhancements, and provide ongoing application support. As part of the Data Engineering team, this individual will craft innovative managed file transfer (MFT) solutions and procedures for various internal groups, including IT/IS, Sales, Finance, and Operations. You will be part of a team that maintains and optimizes the platform and participates in the strategic and tactical solutioning for our business clients.

What You’ll Take On

Setup and maintain SFG and B2BI, partnerships, envelopes, AS2/SFTP communications, and routings
Build, modify, research areas of mapping, translation, and business processes
Research requests on data / file status via applications UIs, log files and flat file archives
Manage tickets in Company’s ticketing system
Support data flows and connections between Take-Two and all endpoints
Restore/redeliver data, execute and support business processes
Perform application health checks
Maintain stability of IBM’s Sterling Integrator and File Gateway platform and actively manage performance including capacity planning, tuning, and updates
Participate in remediation of EDI Sterling B2B incidents and events. Provide afterhours support for troubleshooting and issue resolution

What You Bring

3+ years of hands-on experience in IBM’s Sterling B2B Integrator business processes, configurations, properties files and components
3+ years of hands on experience in MFT and IBM Sterling File Gateway partner setups, routings and communications
Demonstrable experience of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI data structure
Demonstrable experience of AS2, SFTP and VAN communications
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply technology knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Great to Have:

Knowledge of Lightwell’s Framework a plus

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $110,000 and $140,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
