Responsibilities
  • Workforce & Business Development: Assist in workforce training programs, helping businesses and individuals access employment resources.
  • Support small business growth by identifying grants, funding opportunities, and economic incentives.
  • Research workforce trends and help develop strategies to improve employment opportunities.
  • Community Outreach & Event Planning: Organize bi-weekly community marketplace events, recruiting small businesses to showcase products and services.
  • Assist in fundraising campaigns, ensuring a portion of vendor sales supports workforce and community programs.
  • Develop workshops and training programs to educate individuals on economic sustainability.
  • Grant Writing & Economic Development: Research and draft grant proposals to secure funding for workforce training and community programs.
  • Collaborate with government and corporate partners to expand job training initiatives.
  • Assist in structuring financial assistance programs for workers in employee-owned business models.
  • Sustainable Housing & Infrastructure Development: Support the development of affordable housing programs, including lease-to-own models.
  • Research sustainable building materials, including 3D printing and concrete moss for energy-efficient housing.
  • Assist in community planning initiatives, working to improve local infrastructure.
  • Digital Marketing & Communications: Manage social media platforms, creating digital content to promote workforce initiatives.
  • Develop newsletters and blog posts highlighting economic opportunities and training programs.
  • Assist in podcast and media production, interviewing industry professionals to provide workforce insights and release independent podcast and newsletter content.
  • Technology & AI Workforce Innovation: Use AI-powered workforce tools to enhance job placement, training, and economic outreach.
  • Assist in data analysis and automation strategies to improve efficiency in workforce programs.
  • Research emerging technologies that support economic growth and workforce accessibility.
  • Community Planning & Development: Assist in research for community planning projects, helping to develop walkable and sustainable neighborhoods.
  • Identify local businesses, investors, and government programs that can fund redevelopment initiatives.
  • Help design strategies for infrastructure upgrades, including transportation, public spaces, and economic hubs.
