Responsibilities
- Manages a technical publications group
- Ensures customer satisfaction
- Integrates resources with cross-functional teams
- Interfaces with internal and external customers
- Assists in defining, developing, and sustaining product strategy and roadmap
- Guides projects/programs for the research and development of new publication technologies
- Provides management with updates pertaining to progress in specific projects and initiatives
- Reviews technical publication exit requirements
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of concepts, theories, and principles in own job family
- Applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives
- Manages a generally homogeneous team
- Adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems
- Guides, influences, and persuades others internally in related areas or externally
- Requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times
- Proficient in technical publishing software
- Proficient in business processes and software
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented
- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects
- Drive Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to provide content, redline, and deliverables in a timely manner
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to details
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
