Key Responsibilities

1. Manages a technical publications group with specific responsibility for office safety, staffing, technical mentoring as required within the group, staff professional and personal development and sustaining supervisors/technical leaders for key area of responsibility and budget development adherence. Technically lead and/or execute projects
2. Ensure customer satisfaction via on time delivery of product releases and prompt resolution of critical issues
3. Ensure the integration of resources with cross-functional teams to meet product goals
4. Interface with internal and external customers regarding issues for product line
5. Assist in defining, developing and sustaining product strategy and roadmap and business processes
6. Guides projects/programs for the research and development of new publication technologies, as appropriate, and ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas, as needed
7. Provides management with updates pertaining to progress in specific projects and initiatives, and assures that information required in other functional areas is disseminated appropriately
8. Reviews technical publication exit requirements and contributes expertise and judgment throughout the product development process

• Expertise in three key domains: Technical Publications, Training content development, and Graphical Illustrations.
• Proficient in technical publishing software:
  • DITA XML: Oxygen Editor
  • Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs, MS SharePoint and Teams
  • Graphical: SnagIT, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Notepad++, and MS Paint
  • Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC, Adobe FrameMaker
  • MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Pivot Tables, vLookups, Macros), OneNote and Outlook
• Proficient in business processes and software’s such as:
  • Project: Smartsheets, MS Project,
  • Business: MSTeams, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent analytical skills: ability to analyze large data to identify trends and gaps. Able to write macros to automate routine and repetitive tasks.
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented. Ability to build and maintain positive and productive inter-departmental working relationships.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and multitask on multiple projects.
• Drive Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to provide content, redline, and deliverables in a timely manner.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Must be a quick learner, self-starter, with strong attention to details and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
• Knowledge of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)

U.S. Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
