Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years' hands-on experience in embedded solutions, demonstrating proficiency in designing and implementing custom hardware solutions
  • Experience in programming 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering bench tools such as power supply and oscilloscope
Responsibilities
  • Firmware development of custom hardware (C or C++ programming) for time-critical applications such as motor control, lighting control and sync control across various internal/external equipment
  • Computer software development (Python and C++ language) to bridge between custom hardware and third-party applications such as computer graphics process engine, motion-capture system, real-time video compositing
  • Analog/Digital circuit boards design, quicking prototyping and troubleshooting
  • Mechanical design and parts fabrication with laser cutter and 3D printing is a plus
  • In charge of custom hardware/software system deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Responsible for the system's operation during on-stage filmmaking
