How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Evaluate and treat patients with diverse physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life.

• Design and implement personalized care plans that utilize the most effective modalities to ensure each patient reaches their recovery milestones.

• Document and monitor patient progress journeys to maintain accurate records that ensure the highest standards of clinical care and safety.

• Educate and empower families and caregivers by providing the tools and information necessary for a safe and successful transition back to the home environment.

• Oversee and mentor the supporting clinical team to ensure all therapy services meet established practice standards and regulatory requirements.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
