Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer or Technical Product Owner for Agile teams in a software development environment.
  • Ability to define customer journeys, understand user needs, and ensure requirements deliver meaningful user value.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and align business, engineering, user experience, and quality assurance stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience prioritizing backlogs, defining minimum viable product scope, and working closely with cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of software development methodologies, solution architecture, and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for backlog management and documentation.
  • Experience creating and managing traceability matrices linking requirements to design, risk controls, verification, and validation activities.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, Software as a Medical Device, interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR, and data integrity requirements.
  • Ability to lead without authority, facilitate workshops, and drive consensus across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • An outcome-focused and detail-oriented mindset, including process discipline and a focus on timely project completion.
  • A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a similar field.
Responsibilities
  • Lead product development and champion best practices in requirements management, business analysis, and technical product ownership.
  • Work on product definition for software solutions as stand-alone applications and as part of system solutions.
  • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements meet user and business needs.
  • Support the entire product development life cycle from product ideation through product development and launch.
  • Collaborate with users and product marketing to understand user needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of user journeys, workflows, and use cases.
  • Translate user needs into product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development sprints.
  • Work with development and testing teams to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly understood.
  • Work with user experience and user interface leads to translate requirements into visual and interactive design assets.
  • Document, manage, and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with evolving requirements and business goals.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to align technical requirements, timelines, and priorities.
  • Participate in Agile meetings to maintain transparency on progress, impediments, and successes.
  • Own and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
  • Champion best practices in requirements engineering and technical product ownership.

  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, HIPAA, and software validation requirements in regulated healthcare environments.

Cooper Companies' international revenue rises 7.9% to $1.08B, with EMEA contributing $287M

The Cooper Companies reported total revenue of $1.08 billion for the quarter ending April 2026, up 7.9% year over year. International markets contributed significantly to this performance, with EMEA generating $289.7 million (26.8% of total revenue) and Asia Pacific adding $130.6 million (12.1%). EMEA revenue exceeded Wall Street expectations by 5.18%, whilst Asia Pacific fell marginally short by 0.17%. The surgical and contact lens products maker's EMEA performance represented growth from $248.6 million in the year-ago quarter, though Asia Pacific revenue declined from $138.6 million over the same period. For the current fiscal quarter, analysts project total revenue of $1.12 billion, with EMEA expected to contribute $305.46 million and Asia Pacific $143.73 million.
