Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal role
  • An associate degree in paralegal studies, or a bachelor's degree in another field combined with a paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience in a legal environment.
  • A strong communicator capable of leading impactful discussions and aligning stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver who demonstrates ownership, finding opportunities in setbacks and reflecting on challenges to drive improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to develop a comprehensive legal playbook that establishes business standards and best practices for contract negotiation.
  • Execute this playbook to review and manage complex contracts and legal documents, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements, and coordinating with external legal resources when required.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.
  • Implement and maintain efficient systems for document management, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project progression.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal resources to facilitate contract review and resolve outstanding legal questions.
  • Organize and manage signed contracts, including documentation of any approved exceptions to business standards so we can ensure compliance with any non-standard terms.
