Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Proven Experience
  • Manage your own workload and schedule while hitting your set targets
  • Balance experiencing new environments and working autonomously in a remote sales environment

Responsibilities
  • Strategically influences key physicians, as champions/advocates of targeted Alcon Surgical Glaucoma products
  • Enhances Alcon relationships by identifying key decision makers and establishing communication with physician staff, in both clinic and Operating room settings
  • Demonstrates strong technical and clinical abilities to discuss products in the operating room and perform product in-services
  • Coordinates and leads educational presentations and surgical wet labs
  • Leads the training process of MD's through the phases of qualification and proficiencies
  • Collaborates with the entire Alcon Surgical team to improve and further develop the portfolio
  • Strategically works with the Surgical Academic Manager to assist in education of all residents, fellows and instructing institutions within the specified geographic region
  • Current core strategic product drivers include surgical glaucoma; Customer responsibility includes hospitals, academic centers, DODs/VAs (where residents rotate),, hospitals and surgery centers and physician clinics
  • Leads all aspects of speaker development and coordination of speaker activities with Alcon marketing, sales, and Speakers Alliance
