Requirements
  • Associate degree in technical field or HS +5 years of Semiconductor process experience in diffusion or wet-etch
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Strong data mining and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and able to react to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work in clean room for extended period (12-hour shifts) in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible for urgent technical support (occasionally off hours)
  • Willingness to work night shift
Responsibilities
  • Diffusion/wet-etch process engineering support in high volume 24x7 manufacturing environment. This will include, but not limited to SPC Process monitoring, responding to lot disposition from tool faults, identifying and addressing potential quality impact to products, supporting engineering products including process development and tool qualification
  • Setting up recipes on metrology tools in diffusion or wet etch areas. (UV12xx/F5X/FRT/Surfscan)
  • Work closely with operators and provide training and support if needed
  • Review of defect map and SPC charts
  • Disposition discrepant material and contain excursions
  • Disposition failed qualification tests on production toolsets
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in diffusion and/or wet etch operation
  • Experience in hold lot disposition in diffusion and or wet etch areas
  • Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment
