  • Bachelors of Science (BS) or Masters (MS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering with 5+ years of related experience
  • PE Licensure preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software
  • Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG10, and LPILE software
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills
  • Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff
  • Willingness to travel, up to 10%
Responsibilities
  • Performing design reviews of civil/structural design components in support of the development of bid/construction packages for substation projects
  • Functioning as a senior engineer performing design reviews on a regular basis
  • Developing junior staff members
  • Contributing to bids and proposal development
  • Taking a responsible engineer role on main client projects, overseeing the work and ensuring quality control on design packages
  • Conducting site-visits to client substation facilities
  • Occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events
  • Complying with quality control and safe work practices and maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations
  • Being a senior member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and drafting technicians
