Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science field is required.
  • No work experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry is required.
  • The ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures with attention to detail is required.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines is required.
  • The ability to pay attention to detail and exhibit critical thinking is required.
Responsibilities
  • Test samples, draft methods, and report data under current Good Manufacturing Practice regulatory guidance for Large Molecules/Biologics product development and related stability studies.
  • Execute laboratory testing using mammalian cell culture and sterile technique.
  • Execute in vitro cell-based assays, including reporter gene bioassays and cell titer glo proliferation bioassays.
  • Execute quantitative and potency enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay testing using fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, and MSD methods.
  • Execute molecular biology techniques, including quantitative polymerase chain reaction and polymerase chain reaction.
  • Perform kinetic binding assessments using bio-layer interferometry or surface plasmon resonance.
  • Perform flow cytometry and other required technologies or methodologies.
  • Train on one or two methods or techniques and perform ad hoc sample testing activities under current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
  • Apply basic scientific and laboratory concepts and theories related to specific testing in the group.
  • Follow current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements for legible, accurate, and thorough documentation to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Support drafting simple methods, method forms, and result reports.
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and compliantly according to applicable policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Follow quality, safety, and ethical practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
