Requirements
  • Relevant education in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ years' experience within either a commercial FMCG role, such as brand / category management, a top tier consultancy, a high-growth startup, or an e-commerce environment
  • Outstanding problem solving skills: you are methodical, data-driven, and logical, and have a track record of solving both well-defined and highly ambiguous / complex problems
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills: you can shift your perspective to work across different functions and geographies, and generate true buy-in to your initiatives
  • An advanced project management toolkit, and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward at the same time
  • A customer-centric mindset: you have the ability to use data to identify unmet customer needs and pain points; a knack for creative thinking to develop solutions that solve our customers' challenges
  • An entrepreneurial streak: you have the desire to excel in an unstructured and fast-paced environment; you're passionate about creating the future and shaping the ready-to-heat category in Canada
  • Experience managing a small team, with a strong interest in people leadership and culture-building
  • An obsession with food and/or nutrition: you'll be leading our Culinary team!
Responsibilities
  • Develop a detailed and data-driven understanding of the Factor Canada customer, and ensure the rest of the Factor team shares this understanding
  • Develop and continuously improve the product assortment through testing, performance insights, customer feedback, and competitor analysis
  • Develop compelling physical product roadmaps, working with peer leaders across other functions (Marketing, Operations, etc) as well as the Factor USA team to prioritize based on customer and business value
  • Lead and manage each roadmap initiative through the full product lifecycle. Be prepared to be hands-on!
  • Work with our Data and Digital Product teams to dive into insights and run experiments to optimize the current product, identify opportunities, and create business cases; collaborate closely with our Digital Product team to align on their roadmap and priorities
  • Establish the product rituals, processes, and systems to continuously evaluate and improve our performance across key metrics
  • Share learnings widely across other brands and geographies, and partner with them to continuously improve and evolve the way we work and the results we can achieve
