Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction defect litigation is highly desired.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy skills are required.
  • The candidate must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.
  • The candidate must be highly organized and communicate clearly and concisely.
  • The candidate must be a self-starter who is goal-oriented and focused on long-term career goals.
  • The candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • The candidate must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
  • Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.
  • Respond to motions and discovery.
  • Attend and chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
  • Negotiate settlements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
