Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred
  • 5+ years experience in industrial sales
  • 3+ years industrial filtration sales experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, ability to learn and use a CRM system
Responsibilities
  • Travels regionally to call on existing and target customers
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and supports customer needs through frequent personal, written, and phone conversations
  • Serve as technical filtration consultant to the customer
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission
  • Increase customer base and add to existing customer profitability
  • Leverage expanding product lines to capture market share from vulnerable strategic competitors
  • Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships
