Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly Product, Solution, and Service P&L operating plan targets, including orders, sales, contribution margin, base costs, operating margin, and cash where applicable, for the assigned geographical area.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales for the team.
  • Align territories to market potential and ensure optimal deployment of sales resources.
  • Attract, retain, and develop commercial talent by demonstrating servant leadership.
  • Foster a positive culture built on teamwork and accountability.
  • Communicate appropriate operating-plan targets based on product-market potential to account managers within the geography.
  • Ensure that team members use the required sales systems to create pipeline visibility and support accurate forecasting.
  • Determine and drive ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry, ensuring accuracy, configuration integrity, and that requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
  • Drive operating mechanisms to deliver fulfillment targets and order-backlog commitments.
  • Continuously develop clinical and technical knowledge, including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms.
  • Educate, coach, and direct the differentiation, positioning, value proposition, and key messages of Imaging products and solutions.
  • Act as a reference point for Regional and Market account teams regarding product differentiation and continuously position product value within relevant healthcare and disease areas.
  • Maintain professional relationships with key customers and support high-level discussions within the market.
  • Ensure and validate up-to-date knowledge of product positioning and differentiation messages within Imaging teams and relevant account teams.
  • Determine market potential for the product, product range, or segment and prioritize opportunities.

GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. Clinical collaborations are underway at UZ Brussel in Belgium and Rigshospitalet in Denmark to evaluate the system across cardiology, neurology, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging. The CE mark follows more than $5 billion in innovation investment by GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare launches three new Vivid cardiovascular ultrasound systems for diverse care settings

GE HealthCare has introduced three new cardiovascular ultrasound systems to its Vivid portfolio: Vivid Explorer 1, Vivid Advanced 1, and Vivid Focus 1. The systems were unveiled at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 in Munich, Germany. Each system targets different clinical settings whilst sharing a common technology foundation with the ultra-premium Vivid Pioneer. Vivid Explorer is designed for high-volume echo labs, Vivid Advanced for mid-size hospitals and cardiology practices, and Vivid Focus for everyday cardiac imaging. All three systems use cSound imaging technology and include AI-enabled automation tools to streamline echo workflows. GE HealthCare launches Invenia ABUS Prime and StreamVue for breast cancer screening

GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, expanding its breast imaging portfolio with solutions for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts.
