About the Role

As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to join the 10x Team and who will be responsible for the administration and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, technical accounting matters and implementation of new accounting standards. The SEC Reporting Manager is a newly created role and will be key to the organization in preparing the many aspects of the external financial statements, including cash flow statement and various footnote support files. This role will have high visibility with Senior Finance Leadership and works with all areas of the Finance. The SEC Reporting Manager will report to the VP Corporate Controller. Position is located in Pleasanton, CA.

What you will be doing:

• Preparation of SEC reporting documents (10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, 8K)
• Prepare the quarterly cash flow statement, earnings per share and equity roll forward workbooks
• Support investor relations in preparation of press release
• Prepare footnote support schedules, tie-out binders for SEC filings and disclosure checklists
• Assist with research and preparation of technical accounting position papers
• Collaborate with other members of finance to obtain data for SEC financial preparation
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to manage the financial quarterly review and annual audit process
• Ensure internal controls over financial reporting, including disclosure controls and procedures, are adequate and operating effectively participate in monthly/quarterly financial close review meetings to ensure appropriate accounting of transactions and for accurate external reporting
• Review of leases and amortization schedules for global real estate relating to our facility leases
• Involved in due diligence for acquisitions including assistance in valuation of purchase price with third parties and work with Corporate Accounting for the opening balances
• Assist on special projects as needed.

To be successful you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business
• CPA required
• 3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
• 3+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in publicly held companies
• Experience with Workiva preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Depth in Excel skills and extreme attention to detail
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and adjust quickly to changing priorities
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to achieve results
