  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in building, commercializing and operating cross-platform products, preferred to be in credit payment space
  • Strong experience in SAFE/Agile development methodologies, especially Agile Release Train structures with proven experience in launching products or micro-services
  • Demonstrated technical and business acumen in delivering solutions
  • Ability to communicate with both business and technology stakeholders, with a strong understanding of business requirements mapped to technology capabilities and an ability to make technical concepts accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Work with Product Owners and SAFE/technology teams across multiple internal and external business/product units in creating and prioritizing backlogs by defining Epics, Features and Stories.
  • Identify and develop, iterate and refine client needs or industry trends into executable requirements to drive the creation and execution of services, and triage additions/changes to the backlog as needed.
  • Be the SME in assigned areas to internal and external stakeholders, communicating concisely the features, capabilities and value proposition to meet stakeholders’ business objectives.
  • Develop 201 level client facing materials to articulate capabilities and features, including integration technologies such as JSON/APIs and external facing tools demonstrating ease of doing business using Visa DPS Credit solutions and technology.
  • Collaborate with multiple service and product teams to develop and integrate solutions with detailed product requirements and execute the technology builds.
  • Develop service guides for clients and partners for commercialization and ongoing support, and ensures that the system meets/exceeds business continuity expectations.
  • Own features through development lifecycle including Go to Market (GTM), service description and onboarding documentation as necessary. Identify, structure, and manage complex issues to quickly arrive at recommendations that drive product priorities or mitigation strategy and demonstrate results to leadership. Define Definition of Done (DoD) for each deliverable and document detail systems flow, functions and processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in credit payment space in Product Management capacity
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
  • Exposure to credit payments ecosystem and lifecycle such as credit processing, acquisition, card benefits, credit ledger, credit payment/repayment, loyalty/rewards, physical or digital card fulfillment and cardholder correspondence
  • Superior problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Team oriented, collaborative and flexible with strong presentation skills, including oral and written capabilities.
