Senior Java Lead

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

· Work within a technically strong team to design and build new systems as well as support and enhance current systems

· Develop and maintain architecturally sound, modular, component-driven Java applications

· Create, maintain and organize system & design documentation, test plans, etc

Qualifications

Experience required:

Technical Skills:

· 8+ years Java J2EE with complex multi-layer applications

· Strong working knowledge of Swing and EJB

· Working knowledge on Spring/Hibernate

· Working knowledge of an appropriate UI framework (jQuery, AngularJS, etc) would be added advantage

· Strong working knowledge of SQL

· Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills, including working knowledge and experience in using UML and design patterns

· Experience with IDE’s such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, and tools such CVS/Maven, etc

Overall Skills:

· Very strong communication and critical thinking skills.

· Solid foundation in trouble-shooting application and data issues

· Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and assess priority.

· Ability to fit into a team-orientated environment with a positive influence

· Ability to handle changes in business requirements and priorities across multiple projects.
