THE ROLE: The Test Technician will be responsible for performing tests, troubleshoot, repair and modify production electronic boards, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties and other duties as assigned. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Follow work instructions, production drawings and procedures under supervision.
- Sets up standard test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies, frequency counters, and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production systems.
- Perform test procedures to text complex circuit boards including CPU’s, digital Signal Processors, transmitters and receivers.
- Collect, log into database, analyze and interpret test data. Required to complete paperwork, and maintain accurate documentation. Perform routine electronic testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience 3 years electronic technician
- The candidate must also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and possess a can-do attitude.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and to perform repetitive hand motions. Knowledge of ESD procedures
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, assembly drawings and follow on computer and written work instructions
- Be able to prioritize and plan work activities and Attention to details essential
- Follow Safety Procedures
- Must be able to read, write and understand in English and follow instructions
- Basic Computer and MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) user experience is a plus
DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role, the physical demands may include but not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending and lifting up to 30lbs. In addition, this role works a forty-hour work week with moderate overtime requirements.
SALARY:The estimated hourly range for this position is $24 to $25 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
