Requirements
  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree at an accredited university
  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or any similar technical area
  • Working knowledge of C/C++, Python, and an understanding of embedded systems is preferred
  • Ability to develop and understand software from application level to base software
  • Comfortable analyzing data to improve the design and performance of a system
  • Comfortable with Electrical Engineering fundamentals or thermodynamic principles or Vehicle Dynamics principles preferred
  • Hand-on experience debugging complex subsystems involving network microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices
  • Any work with fluid mechanics, heat exchanger design, refrigeration systems/heat pump systems preferred but not required
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to define vehicle, sub-system, and component requirements
  • Collaborate with low voltage electrical teams to define and integrate components, check functionality on the bench and the vehicle
  • Define and implement software unit tests, HIL, and vehicle tests
  • Support validation teams in developing component and system-level test plans to meet feature requirements
