Requirements
  • 5+ years in technical project management role
  • PMP certification required
  • Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, or PMP-ACI preferred
  • Experience leading large-scale projects utilizing cloud platforms and technologies including Azure and GCP
  • Experience managing IT projects utilizing Cloud technologies, Azure and/or SaaS
  • Experience within Agile based organizations leading the delivery of large complex projects with business/technical inter-dependencies
  • Proven ability as a change agent in technical transformations and a solid understanding of change-management methodologies
  • Strong, multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication skills with emphasis on clarity, collaboration, and cross-functional interactions
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and drive consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or another STEM field preferred; graduate degree considered a strong differentiator
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, project status reports and project related communication documents
  • Lead intricate, cross-functional engineering initiatives leveraging technical proficiency
  • Spearhead projects from inception to completion, adeptly navigating through the entire project lifecycle
  • Oversee project timelines, delineate scope and pivotal decision points, pinpoint dependencies and risks
  • Orchestrate efforts to mitigate dependencies, enforce deadlines, and deliver concise and transparent communications to diverse project stakeholders
  • Facilitate quarterly planning preparedness of the Infra team and align scope & context to org’s strategic vision
  • Track progress of initiatives in Kanban, ensuring they meet definition of done
  • Coordinate impediment removal and escalate and address problems that teams cannot resolve independently
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization events such as system demo, scrum of scrum
  • Manage risks and dependencies using the ROAM technique
  • Support backlog refinement through collaboration with Product, other engineering teams, and other stakeholders to help ensure the backlog aligns with strategy
  • Promote DevOps and continuous delivery pipeline
  • Help coordinate releases and plan additional activities and milestones needed to deliver the solution
  • Assist in facilitating feature estimation by the team
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into detailed engineering challenges
  • Develop agile practice within the team
