Description

To jump-start your career at Imprint, you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. You will work on increasingly challenging projects to become an independent, high-impact software engineer, with the opportunity to influence the evolution of Imprint technology and lead mission-critical projects early in your career. Your design, code, and raw smarts will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the areas of web development, mobile (iOS or Android) development, backend development, distributed systems, and infrastructure – just to name a few. In addition to working on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Imprinters for personal and professional development and expand your network.

Your Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary mentors and peers to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market
• Work on cross-functional projects, directly collaborating with other engineers
• Own your project, while checking in with other team members throughout the day with questions and updates
• Build the skills to own a project from beginning to end, learning project management, teamwork skills, and technical leadership skills

We Are Looking For Folks With

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least one additional term of school to complete after the end of this internship
• Be able to do summer internship for at least 12 weeks; starting time can be in May or June
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals
• Programming experience with one or more application or systems languages (Go, Python, Java, C/C++, Swift, Kotlin, etc)
• Passion for FinTech, and ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
• A commitment to writing understandable, maintainable, and reusable software, and an innate desire to deliver and a strong sense of accountability for your work
• Excellent communication skills, and a desire to be part of a team that delivers impactful results.

Annual salary range: $38 per hour and competitive equity package.
