Requirements
  • High school diploma and five years of industrial security-related experience
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to achieve goals and targets while handling multiple tasks
  • Experience with conducting security briefings, debriefings and have the ability to clearly explain security processes and procedures
  • Experience implementing multiple security disciplines to include Personnel, Physical, Communications and Operations Security programs and requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated program security support. Security support will include personnel and physical security for program personnel, spaces, and activities.
  • Respond to alarms and after hours facility issues.
  • Act as Insider Threat Prevention Officer and maintain the insider threat program.
  • Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 , and applicable customer-specific security requirements
  • Engage and advise the Facilities Security Officer on security related initiatives by identifying issues that potentially impact business operations
  • Assists Facilities Security Officer with creating and executing a robust and comprehensive security education program by ensuring program personnel
  • Report and investigate security incidents specific to their assigned program and recommend mitigations to the Facilities Security Officer.
  • Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations
  • Assist the Facilities Security Officer in managing semi-annual alarm/guard response testing, physical security checks and onsite tasks as needed. Maintain cleared/uncleared visitor logs and perform entry and exit inspections
  • Provide employees with personnel security guidance as mandated by SEAD 3 reporting requirements and assist with managing new employee clearance requests and updates

KONGSBERG acquires Zone 5 and enters development and high-volume production of affordable missiles - Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (‘KONGSBERG’) has signed an agreement to acquire the California-based missile company Zone 5 Technologies LLC, which designs and produces affordable, mass producible long-range strike and anti-drone missiles. The value of the transaction is undisclosed.

Kongsberg acquires 90% of US missile maker Zone 5 for undisclosed sum

Norwegian defence company Kongsberg Gruppen has agreed to acquire 90 percent of US-based Zone 5 Technologies, which develops and produces low-cost missiles in large volumes. The purchase price was not disclosed, and the deal requires regulatory approval. Zone 5's management will retain the remaining shares. The company generated over $100 million in sales in 2025 and is profitable. It will operate as an independent subsidiary under Kongsberg. "The acquisition of Zone 5 is an important strategic step for Kongsberg. Zone 5 is at the forefront of developing affordable missiles that can be produced in large volumes," said Geir Håøy, CEO of Kongsberg Gruppen.
