Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Two years of customer-service work experience are required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage enrollment compliance, including collecting residency documentation, supporting families with registration, and updating the registration system.
  • Ensure student records contain complete and accurate information required for internal, external, federal, and regulatory reporting.
  • Update student information when enrollment details change, including addresses, telephone numbers, guardians, and emergency contacts.
  • Withdraw transferring, no-show, dropping-out, or expelled students using the appropriate exit codes.
  • Coordinate with school personnel to keep special-program data, including special education data, current.
  • Facilitate the transfer of student information between schools.
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment team to support campus enrollment initiatives.
  • Gather, input, and verify data needed for internal and external reports.
  • Prepare customized reports for site-based needs and assist school staff with generating reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports extracted from the student information system.
  • Work with building-level administrators to ensure attendance and discipline data is accurately recorded.
  • Coordinate with school personnel to ensure truancy is coded appropriately in the student system.
  • Verify that teachers enter class attendance daily.
  • Reconcile daily tardy logs, excuses, and discipline records to daily attendance.
  • Maintain attendance records in a central location within the school building.
  • Maintain copies of suspensions, expulsions, and incident reports in a central location within the school building.
  • Regularly audit discipline and attendance records to ensure data integrity.
  • Input the master schedule and schedule students into required courses.
  • Keep class rosters up to date.
  • Coordinate each grade-reporting cycle, ensuring grades are completed on time and report cards and other grade reports are printed and disseminated according to the school calendar.
  • Conduct training for teachers and other staff on using the attendance and electronic grade-book programs.
  • Coordinate user security within the student information system with the District Office SIS administrator.
  • Attend conferences and classes to maintain knowledge of database management and the student information system.
  • Maintain and manage PowerSchool, Infosnap, SLED, and MySchoolDC.
  • Configure and maintain the school’s auto dialer interface with the student information system.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the role is preferred.
  • An associate degree is preferred.
  • At least two years of using a school student information system or an equivalent combination of education and other related experience is preferred.
