Tape systems programmer who will manage the relationship between our clients to ensure hardware is fixed in a timely manner. Previous vendor experience is desirable and Service Now experience is a must. Other qualifications are below.
TECHNICAL
Handling of Tapes
- TS7700/iCOS experience
- Experience in tape recovery, RMM CDS reorgs, and RMM lpar builds.
H/W Support:
- Manage hardware break / fix for all tape / DASD related failures.
- Experience working with IBM SSRs.
IBM Utilities
- IDCAMS for basic catalog functions
- IEBCOPY, IEHLIST, IEHPROGM, IEBGENER
Data Backup and Migration
- Strong knowledge of FDR, ABR and CPK
- Strong knowledge of DFHSM and primary, secondary and interval migration
Non-Technical
Experience with ITIL/Service Now.
Participated in Pricing rotations once every 11 days from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Eastern.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be a team-player.
Will need to enter timesheets weekly.
Will need to complete Ensono and Client training within assigned windows.
Most importantly, will NEVER guess at a solution but will engage team members instead.
Experience with Data Center migrations is a plus.
