Requirements
  • 5-7 years in Wireless System R&D engineering or production system deployments is required
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, network engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the deployment and operations of PoC and FOA and production system deployments
  • Understanding of traffic modeling, RF coverage and link budgets
  • Experience in post-processing tools, syslogs, log collection
  • Experience with Linux, Open Stack, Kubernetes
  • Experience in C, C++, Python
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills
Responsibilities
  • Development and operations of the lab systems
  • Design and support of customer PoC and FOA
  • Test plans development and execution for device, RAN, core network and application interoperability testing
  • Analysis of hardware and software requirements for the mission critical device, RAN and core network functions
  • Develop technical solutions for commercial deployment in mission critical private networks supporting business development and product teams
  • Design and development of cloud based RAN, core network architectures and virtualization technologies
  • Network design of application, IP layer stacks, the configuration of end-to-end network (e.g. servers, applications, switches, routers, network software, hardware functions)
  • Production system troubleshooting (e.g. data collection, post-processing, packet and management plane signaling log analysis, spectrum analyzer and RF scanner operations)
  • Performing deep-dive analysis of hardware and software issues, system and network builds, mission critical device functions, security, system reliability designs
  • Create and present technical reports and demonstrations
