Requirements
- 5-8 years of revenue recognition experience
- 2+ years of NetSuite experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Detailed-oriented, meticulous with high degree of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Computer Skills
- Experience working with Netsuite and Salesforce CRM
- Proficient in Excel
Responsibilities
- Review revenue contracts, modifications, and terminations to ensure revenue is recorded accurately and timely in accordance with ASC 606 requirements
- Review invoices to customers to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Prepare monthly revenue report and analysis
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition and deferred revenue reconciliations
- An integral part of the sales process by working closely with the Revenue Operations team to ensure accurate financial data in Salesforce CRM and Netsuite
- Prepare monthly partnership revenue share liability report for reconciliation with Salesforce
- Create accounting requirements for cross-functional teams to ensure new revenue streams are properly accounted for
- Partner with internal teams to ensure the success of business partnerships
- Prepare commissions expense analysis and disclosures in accordance with ASC 606
- Drive process improvement and scale existing workflows to support Company growth
- Implement controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with our revenue recognition accounting process
- Support external audit and ad-hoc reporting requirements
