Responsibilities

Prepares high-level and detailed reports to track equipment uptime and maintenance costs
Develops and rolls out programs that result in cost savings, efficiency gains or compliance to certain Lucid specifications
Responsibilities:
Responsible for completing all safety training and skills development for their assigned role
Reinforces compliance with LOTO and other safety programs including audits and observation tours
Writes and revises equipment preventative maintenance procedures, process work flows and standardized work
Shadows Paint Production supervisors or engineers according to your discipline
Develops and executes certain small projects for the betterment of the painting process or maintenance
Interfaces with counterparts in other departments of the Factory
Update electronic drawings, prints and manuals as needed
Develops projects that will support continuous improvement and increase production line efficiencies
At the end of the internship period, employee shall give a detailed presentation on their project(s) and what they learned in the process

We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to work in the Paint department during start-up and launch of our new factory. Our ideal candidate will have just completed or about to complete their engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial fields of study. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, innovative and possess a high degree of initiative. Our intern candidate will work in a highly-automated automotive manufacturing facility learning about the painting process, planning and manufacturing processes, and paint shop equipment.This Internship is for a minimum of 12 weeks, and may be extended. Reports to the Maintenance Manager of the Manufacturing Department.

The Role:
